CASfire won the third prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020
In April 2021, CASfire Technical Co., Ltd. participated in the "R&D and Industrialization of Halogen free Flame Retardant Functional Polymer Materials with Rare Earth Synergy" project led by Song Lijun Research Group of Haixi Research Institute (Xiamen Rare Earth Materials Research Institute), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and won the third prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020.
Aiming at the technical problem of low flame retardancy of phosphorus nitrogen flame retardants in the industry, the project innovatively developed rare earth synergistic flame retardants, which effectively improved the flame retardancy of phosphorus nitrogen flame retardants. The main technical content involves the preparation of rare earth functional materials and the synergistic application of halogen- free flame retardants and other key technologies, forming the core technology with independent intellectual property rights, and developing a series of new rare earth synergistic halogen-free flame retardant polymer products, such as flame retardant polypropylene (PP), flame retardant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), flame retardant polyethylene (PE), and flame retardant nylon (PA). The project has been transferred, transformed, popularized and applied, and has achieved good economic and social benefits.
