CASfire Innovation Research Institute is a shared scientific research and innovation platform for testing and certification, research and development, education and training and industry-university-research cooperation of new materials, participated in a number of industry-university-research projects, won the honorary title of national high-tech enterprise and the third prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021.
CASfire Innovation Research Institute has gathered a team of scientists for performance evaluation, analytical chemistry and functional research and development of new materials, and has dozens of scientific research achievements. CASfire Innovation Research Institute focuses on the interaction between modified polymers and light, heat and oxygen. Including aerospace/extreme environment radiation resistant polymers, anti-ultraviolet aging polymers, photo-converting polymers, infrared heat storage polymers, luminous polymers, synergistic flame retardant, rare earth-based antibacterial/algae-inhibiting/antifouling coatings and other new industrial materials.
CASfire Innovation Research Institute, with the high-value utilization of rare earth modification as the core, effectively faces the national strategic needs and the main battlefield of the national economy and promotes the technological upgrading of the polymer material industry.
