本标准规定了道路车辆用系统标称电压不大于（直流60V或交流25V）单芯60V电线的尺寸、试验方法和要求，同时也规定了系统标称电压大于（直流60V或交流25V）小于（直流600V或交流600V）电线附加的试验方法和/或要求。

本标准适用于道路车辆单芯电线，也适用于多芯电缆中的单个线芯。

ISO6722标准的本部分适用于铜芯电线。

Thispart of ISO 6722 specifies the dimensions, test methods, and requirements forsingle-core 60 V cables intended for use in road vehicle applications where thenominal system voltage is≤(60 V d.c. or 25V a.c.). It also specifies additional test methodsand/or requirements for 600 V cables intended for use in road vehicleapplications where the nominal system voltage is greater than > (60 V d.c.or 25 V a.c.) to S (600V d.c. or600 V a.c.). It also applies to individualcores in multi-core cables.

Thispart of ISO 6722 specifies requirements for copper conductor cables.
